Have you ever wanted to feel like you were on the moon? São Vicente is your island, and Monte Verde is a great place to make your moon landing #sãovicente #monteverde #caboverde #capeverde
Santo Antão is Cabo Verde’s most diverse island, with walking paths scaling dry cliffs by the sea and lush valleys not 1 kilometer away. This is from the walking trail that connects the towns of Cruzinha and Ponta do Sol #capeverde #caboverde #cvtravel #pontadosol #hiking #mykneeshateme
Cidade Velha, or Ribeira Grande de Santiago, was the first European city established in the tropics in 1460. It was settled by the Portuguese to serve as a logistics center for the slave trade between Africa and the Americas. This beautiful harbor and the city are now being renovated thanks to @unesco, @exteriores.maec, and the government of #caboverde #capeverde #cidadevelha #instatravel #instaafrica #unesco #patrimoniomundial #worldheritage
Santo Antão, Cabo Verde, played an important role in the discovery of the Americas. Not far from the runway of this abandoned airport is the point of reference for the Treaty of Tordesillas, which split the new world into Spanish and Portuguese parts #santoantao #caboverde #pontadosol #capeverde #airport #abandonedairport
